No doubt countless authors are feeling the void left by the end of the Oprah Era, and her famous Book Club, which generated a legion of best sellers with “The Oprah Effect” (her book blessings led to a big bounce in sales).

Now “The Talk” is taking a page out of Oprah’s book – by launching their own version of a daytime book club.

The CBS talk show announced Tuesday that they are beginning a new “Book Buzz” series on Nov. 11, which will feature discussions of “thought-provoking books.” The first up in the new segment is Iris Krasnow’s “The Secret Lives of Wives: Women Share What It Really Takes to Stay Married.”
