Jon Cryer ‘Plays’ Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’

Look familiar? It's Jon Cryer costumed as Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men"! (Photo: CBS)

The producers of “Two and a Half Men” continue to get quite a bit of mileage out of Charlie Sheen. In fact, in tonight’s episode, Jon Cryer even plays him.

What they’re doing is this: Even though Sheen is long gone, the show is taking advantage of the audience’s familiarity with the late, great character he played for eight seasons on the show — the hard-partying, womanizing Charlie Harper, brother of nebbish Alan (Cryer) and a personality similar to Sheen’s own.

So, in tonight’s episode (Monday, Nov. 7, at 9/8c on CBS), memories of Charlie take center stage as Walden (Ashton Kutcher), the new owner of Charlie’s Malibu house, starts redecorating the place. The soon-to-be-unfamiliar surroundings then trigger a psychological reaction in Alan, as he starts channeling his playboy brother (Charlie Harper was “killed” by an oncoming train; the new season began with his funeral).

You can watch a clip of Cryer/Alan as Sheen/Harper here on the Entertainment Weekly Web site.

We have a clip from the episode too — watch it right here:
