The promotional onslaught for “The Muppets” has begun, with Amy Adams showing up on “The Tonight Show” and Jason Segel chatting with David Letterman last night. But you had to tune into “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to see the movie’s biggest star. That’s right: Miss Piggy stopped by to talk to Jimmy, and she was in rare form.
When any Muppet shows up on a late night show, it’s fun to watch them get ever-so-slightly risque, and Miss Piggy had her moments, mentioning how there “might be handcuffs involved” in her relationship with Kermit the Frog, how much she loves watching “The Real Housewives” series, and how she tries her hardest to court the entertainment press. “I’m seeding stories left and right, but none are getting in. I want to make my Kermie jealous. I want pictures of me and (George) Clooney in the tabloids.” Something tells us, though, that Stacy Keibler isn’t exactly seeing Piggy as a threat.
