Update: Well, it’s official. The pro-Kim Kardashian, anti-Kris Humphries propaganda will be in full swing on E!’s upcoming “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” premiere on Nov. 27.

According to a source who spoke to RadarOnline, Kim will depict herself “as the victim, and Kris will definitely be the bad guy. Kim was stunned by the amount of bad press and the public relations nightmare she has endured since deciding to file for divorce.”

The source adds that despite her sadness, Kim is now looking at her divorce as a business matter and will continue to stay in the limelight to ensure her popularity and endorsement deals.

“The fact is Kim is extremely insecure, and she is truly afraid that if she were to disappear from the public eye, for even more than a week, her fame would disappear,” the source said.

Previously: When some chicks see themselves on TV, it makes ’em want to lose a few pounds. For Kim Kardashian, it made her want to file for divorce, reports RadarOnline.

Once “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” finished filming, the reality star apparently decided to run through the footage and was shocked to see Kris Humphries‘ unhusbandly antics on camera.

A source says Kim was “absolutely mortified when she saw on camera, the way that Kris was treating her. The marriage was already under a tremendous amount of stress, but she just couldn’t believe that she had married this man that was treating her and her family like this.”

Considering Kim has full editorial control over what is seen and not seen on the E! spinoff, don’t expect to see anything that may damage her reputation. As for Kris’ image? (Let’s just say we smell pro-Kardashian propaganda in the works.)

“It was hard for Kim to watch all the footage, she has been unable to review it without bursting into tears,” adds the source. “Making matters worse for Kim is that she is now isolated from her friends. It’s baffling to her best friend Brittny Gastineau that she would freeze her out at a time when Kim needs her the most.”

Kim may need that best friend right quick, in light of all the Kardashian backlash.
