Apparently, Ali Fedotowsky’s broken femur wasn’t the only thing that was broken.
“Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship,” confirms the couple’s rep. “As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.”
In October Ali blew off rumors about there being problems in the relationship and said that she and Roberto had all the intentions of tying the knot—just not on the public’s time frame.
“We didn’t meet in the most traditional way. We had a very short courtship and we only knew each other nine weeks before we got engaged,” she told People. “We are still figuring out our lives as individuals.”
She added: “We’re still engaged, we’re still living together,” she said at the time. “We just don’t feel the need to walk down the aisle right now.”
We guess this means ABC will have to ask “Bachelorette” Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum to take their spot as “successful” “Bachelor” franchise couples who make random guest appearances on the shows along side aging Krista and Ryan and boring Molly and Jason—and that’s if those two survive long enough for new “Bachelor” Ben Flajnik’s season to start.
