For those who can’t satisfy their “Dancing With The Stars” fixes with its first-run, twice-weekly episodes, there’s some good news: Syndicated reruns of the show will begin airing on GSN starting in January.
In the press release announcing the move, GSN announced that they have acquired seasons four through 13 of “DWTS” (the 13th season concludes tonight on ABC). They will also have the rights to rerun season 14 after it completes in the spring. Why they didn’t acquire seasons one through three is anyone’s guess; it could be an ownership issue, technical glitches, or maybe GSN didn’t like second season champion Drew Lachey‘s foxtrot. Who knows?
Season four will be the first one to air, starting January 12. If you stretch your minds way back to 2007 when it aired, you’ll remember that some of the “stars” that season included Heather Mills, Leeza Gibbons, Joey Fatone, John Ratzenberger, Billy Ray Cyrus and the eventual winner, Olympic champ Apolo Anton Ohno.
