Amy Poehler is a woman of many talents, from her Emmy-nominated performance as clueless public servant Leslie Knope on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” from her off-screen role as Will Arnett‘s better half. It seems that in addition to being one of the funniest women in show business, Poehler has some cred a producer, which she’ll soon bring to FX’s new show, “Broad City.”
Deadline reports that Poehler will be an executive producer of the half hour-long comedy, which stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, both alums of Poehler’s training ground, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
The show, which is being developed based on Jacobson and Glazer’s hit web series of the same name, centers around the lives of two misfit twenty-somethings living in New York City.
