Carson Kressley stole the show on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars” finale when he did a parody of Madonna’s classic dance club “Vogue” music video.
In returning to the dance floor for the traditional exhibition dance from the previously booted contestants, the “Queer Eye” star hilariously spoofed Madonna’s 1990 hit—complete with hand-framing head moves and stylized dips into the arms of male pro dancers.
Although J.R. Martinez won the mirror ball trophy, no one could stop talking about Carson’s routine. And after the show, Carson joked to reporters, “I hope Madonna was watching.”

He said his partner, Anna Trebunskaya, who was also a big part of the number along with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, “gave me my dream routine. To move like [Mick] Jagger is great, but to vogue for America and show the young people how it’s done back in the day, that was a really special moment.”
It might never have happened if Carson hadn’t stepped in at the last minute as Ryan O’Neal’s replacement on DWTS this season. The hilarious reality TV veteran, who finished a surprise 5th and kept coming back to do guest star segments, said, “The whole experience has been fantastic—the cast, the crew, hair and makeup, the stars, the pros, everybody has made this—I hate saying ‘the journey’ because I didn’t go anywhere, I just stayed right here. But I’ll have memories that last a lifetime.”
