We were first introduced to “Biggest Loser” contestant Ramon Medeiros as a hairy tattoo artist whose giddy positivity made us feel as if we had encountered the ultimate Latin version of Santy Claus and Jack Handey gelled into one.

But, oh, has Ramon bloomed! Not only did he end up finding “the love of his life” in fellow contestant Jessica Limpert, but he also blew us away with his new clean cut appearance on last week’s “Loser” after he was eliminated from the ranch.

“I was getting kind of grizzly there,” he joked during a conference call [via People]. “I wanted to surprise [Jessica Limpert] and come with a new look.”

With his new look also came a new carpe diem attitude on life, as noted by his skydiving date with Jess.

“I’m not scared of anything anymore,” said the 27-year-old, who’s gone from 355 lbs. to 268 lbs. “I want to get in [a] shark cage in North Shore Hawaii, do some snorkeling, surfing, rock climbing and some bungee jumping.” And he also says he wants to become a personal trainer.

As for his love life? He plans on taking that somewhere, too. “It is in the cards for Jess and I to get married,” the Colorado native said. “But it will be in the future. We’re a new couple, and we’re going to just get into the real world now. I want to take it a little slow. We’re not going anywhere, so we’re going to be together for a long, long time.”

For now, Ramon plans on focusing on shedding the l-bs, with hard workouts and smart dieting. “I’m going four to six hours a day,” he said about his exercise regime. “It’s less than on the Ranch, but it’s what works in the real world.”
