“The Soup” moved its new episodes to Wednesdays starting this week, and the folks over there decided to start their new mid-week run with what they called a “Guest-apalooza.” First, the episode opened with Jimmy Kimmel donning the skinny tie and pretending to be host Joel McHale. From there, the guests just kept on coming.

When McHale came in to reclaim his identity, he had his “Community” co-star Danny Pudi in tow — part of what seems like a plan to feature a “Community” co-star every week to make sure people don’t forget about it while its on hiatus. Then, Kimmel’s Cousin Sal showed up as an ersatz Mankini.

But they weren’t done. Out of nowhere, Kurt Sutter and Katey Sagal popped in to promote next week’s season finale of “Sons of Anarchy.” There was lots of guns and fake shootings, and a whole lot of chaos. We especially liked when Kimmel said he felt “dirty” coming back to basic cable. Want to know how crazy it was? Watch the clip and see for yourself:
