This season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has been a tough one to watch, namely because the suicide of Russell Armstrong has been a dark cloud hanging over all the episodes. The discomfort is especially acute when Taylor Armstrong gets defensive when confronted about the physical abuse she says Russell inflicted on her.
Now, it seems that Taylor is going to lay it all on the table, as Radar Online is reporting that Armstrong has signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster; she’ll be writing a memoir that discusses her abusive relationship with Russell as well as a previous abusive relationship that pre-dates her marriage.
“Taylor is writing the book to put a face on women involved in domestic violence,” says Radar’s source. “She wants the public to know there are resources for battered women, and there is a way out.”
Apparently, the turnaround will be quick, as the book is scheduled for a February release. With what Taylor’s been through this year, maybe getting the message out will be the best Valentine’s Day present she can give herself.
