Last night’s “Watch What Happens Live” at the Bravo Club House was awkward at best with an “all-business” Andy Cohen interviewing a still vulnerable Taylor Armstrong right after an episode that captured one of her many epic breakdowns.
Confessing how “horrified” she’s been with watching her downward spiral this season, Taylor also explained why she was so angry with fellow “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” castmate Camille Grammer. She said at the time, she was living in a “dangerous situation” and had felt completely betrayed by Camille for revealing late hubby Russell Armstrong‘s abuse in front of the cameras. However, now with the help of therapy, she says she completely understands the predicament she put the ladies in.
Although mostly coming across as poised—and at times, even rehearsed—during the interview, the 40-year-old reality star did have a couple tearful moments.
“When you’re in [an abusive relationship,] you’re so scared, and you can’t really get a good handle on it…I ended up in this situation because of my own flaws and my own insecurities,” she whimpered as Andy discussed her new book coming out about her life-long struggle with domestic violence called Hiding From Reality.
As for how she and her five-year-old Kennedy are doing, Taylor revealed that her daughter was actually with her when she found Russell’s body. She teared up again when she quoted what Kennedy had asked her that night: “Did daddy do something dumb?”
However, she added that the two have their “good days and bad days” and thankfully, have great “psychological support” from family and friends—among them being her bestie Kyle Richards.
“We have slumber parties at Kyle’s house…[Kennedy] doesn’t ever want to leave because it’s a big family there, and we’re just two people,” she told Andy.
Despite having to navigate between Andy’s joke segments about her big lips, Taylor managed to tell viewers she’s grown very close to all the ladies but hesitated when the subject came to newbie Brandi Glanville. She simply confessed it’s just difficult to add “someone new into your crew.”
Well, well, well—look who’s acting like Lisa Vanderpump to the new girl on the block.
