With a special week in New York, “The Talk’s” co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen found themselves with more than they bargained for while promoting the daytime series on Sirius’ “The Howard Stern Show“.

Soon after joining the show, the trio of ladies were asked by Stern about why the crew dropped Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini after only one year on the program, a move which reportedly upset the two actresses.

Stern asked Chen why she avoided “talking about dumping Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini from the show.” To which, Gilbert defended Chen noting, “She is definitely not the bad guy,” blaming the decision on “the network”.

Stern pressed on and noted that Peete said she was never called to discuss the move.

Osbourne retorted, “Why should we call them to discuss? What is there to discuss?”

“Some people don’t really know who they are and you have to know who you are when you’re in something like this,” she continued.

Osbourne later said that she told Julie Chen that she didn’t think Peete and Remini were meshing well with the others on the show and that the chemistry with them in the mix was “weird”.

Meanwhile, the ladies discussed their experiences in New York which you can watch in the clip below…
