"Project Accessory." (Lifetime)

The X Factor” wasn’t the only series to crown a champion last night. The debut season of “Project Accessory” also found itself a winner.

After a season that saw a dozen contestants create looks that involved challenges such as incorporating insects into jewelry, the Lifetime series whittled the contenders down to three finalists for last night’s finale, with Brian Burkhardt, Nina Cortes and Rich Sandomeno all vying for the prize. The trio of designers were ordered to take on one final challenge: create nine accessories for three different looks: one for swimwear, one for day and one for the evening.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, here’s the episode before we get into spoilers…

In the end, it was Burkhardt who took home $100,000 from eBay Fashion to start this own accessories line. He also gets a feature spread in InStyle as well as a year of professional runway hair styling courtesy of John Frieda Precision Foam Color.

“I gave it my all, I applied myself 110%,” Burkhardt said after his win. “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done and to be rewarded for that is pretty amazing.”

Cortes and Sandomeno had a few words of their own about Burkhardt’s win, which you can watch in the clip below…
