Watch: Darlene Love Belts Out Christmas Classic on ‘Letterman’

The other day, we told you about rock legend Darlene Love’s scheduled annual holiday appearance on “Late Show with David Letterman,” where she’s sung her 1963 Christmas classic, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” every year since 1986 (yes, encompassing Dave’s former show, “Late Night,” on NBC.

Well, now, you can watch Darlene, 73, belt it out one more time — on Friday night’s “Late Show” — under the direction of Paul Shaffer and accompanied by an expanded “Late Show Band” assembled to re-create the Phil Spector-produced “Wall of Sound” of the original hit.
