Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State coach who is accused to over 50 counts of child sexual abuse, may soon return to the airwaves to plead his case.
A local Pennsylvania newspaper, the Harrisburg Patriot-News, reports that Sandusky’s attorney Joe Amendola told PennLive.com that Sandusky and his wife Dottie are “considering speaking together publicly after the new year, either to Oprah Winfrey, ‘60 Minutes,’ ‘Rock Center‘ or Barbara Walters.” In spite of the released evidence, Mrs. Sandusky has maintained her husband’s innocence in the charges throughout the scandal.
Of course, Sandusky’s previous attempt at swaying public opinion didn’t fare so well. His interview with Bob Costas was thrashed by the media members such as Jon Stewart and did little to change sentiment toward the alleged crimes. For instance, here’s what “The Talk” had to say…
