“We will not be making any more ‘Allen Gregorys,'” Fox’s President Kevin Reilly announced Sunday at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena. Reilly said the new animated series, featuring the voice of Jonah Hill, was “creatively challenging” for the network.

Although not quite on the chopping block just yet, Reilly also addressed concerns about “Fringe’s” future. “Fringe has been a point of pride,” Reilly said, adding he was grateful for the audience it brought to Fridays this season. But is that enough to save it?  “It’s an expensive show and we lose a lot of money,” he noted. “We’re not in the business of losing money.” Reilly said no decision has officially been made yet, and he still plans to sit down with the show’s producers to work out options to continue. “I do not want to drop the ball and let the fans down,” he said.

Other Notes From Reilly’s Executive Session:

On Ryan Seacrest’s “American Idol” Future: “It’s very hard to imagine the show without Ryan,” Reilly said. “We certainly want to keep him. Right now it’s a deal component. It’s a tough negotiation and one that will hopefully come to conclusion pretty quickly.”

The Time For a ‘House’ Spin-Off Has Passed, Says Fox Exec

On Cutting The Results Show From “SYTYCD”: Reilly said the decision to lose the results show was simply done as a space saver. “We wanted to get a few more shows on during the summer,” he said.

Fox Exec: No ‘Glee’ Spin-Off, But Lea Michele Will Stay

On “Terra Nova’s” Future:  “It’s the second highest rated drama and one of the highest rated new shows of the season,”Reilly said. “If this is all we produce, we made money off of it. But there’s a show there to bring back. There’s an audience there to watch it.  Right now we’re looking at everything. We’re going to decide very soon.”
