Their marriage may not have lasted, but Jennifer Lopez admits she’s “having a ball” working with Marc Anthony.

In Pasadena on Saturday, the exes appeared convivial as they sat next to each other during an early morning TCA breakfast session for their new Univision show, “¡Q’Viva!” (The Chosen). At one point during the panel, Anthony even reached over to touch Lopez’s arm as he admired a set of sparkly star-shaped rings on her left hand. The session was the duo’s first public appearance together after reports surfaced that they’re embroiled in an ugly custody battle over their twins, and are “counting down the days until their divorce is final.”

On “¡Q’Viva!” Lopez and Anthony serve as executive producers and casting scouts. The reality series, which premieres in the U.S. on Jan. 28,  is part travelogue, part talent search, as the two scour Latin American countries searching for untapped talent – ranging from singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats, and other performers. Ultimately, the goal is to turn their discoveries into a large-scale Las Vegas live show.

Filmed in English, Spanish and Portuguese, the show is set to air in at least 21 countries. “We think big,” Lopez joked.

Anthony called the reality series a “passion project” — one that he, Lopez and executive producer Simon Fuller have been conceptualizing for years.  “We just wanted to come together and show the world what Latin talent is,” Lopez noted.

Of course, production on the show began long before Lopez and Anthony split in July. When questioned by one reporter whether they would continue to work together if “¡Q’Viva!” were picked up for a second season, Lopez smiled and answered flatly, “Working together would be great. We have so much fun.”

“¡Q’Viva!” premieres Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7/6c on Univision.
