Chelsea Handler is not someone you’d expect to see cry on a talk show. In fact, she’s not someone you’d expect to see cry, period.
But in a preview of Wednesday night’s episode of “The Rosie Show,” the usually stoic comedienne wells up as she candidly discusses her mother’s final days before passing away several years ago.
Both Rosie O’Donnell and Chelsea lost their mothers to cancer, and the very honest moment the two share in the absence of a studio audience is genuinely touching.
“I don’t think I’ve ever cried on television before,” Handler admits with a wry smile. “But now I am.”
