The Friday Buzz: Maya Rudolph Hints Amy Poehler Will Be on ‘SNL’ This Week and More

As is tradition on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” that week’s “SNL” host appeared as a Thursday guest. This week, it happens to be old friend Maya Rudolph, who’s about as hot as anyone in the biz can get these days.

Jimmy decided to keep things light and not ask Rudolph about Whitney Houston, which is her most famous impression. Instead, they talked about “coming home” to “SNL” and Rudolph more than hinted that Amy Poehler is going to appear on the show this weekend (we smell a Bronx Beat sketch coming, don’t you?).

Then, before playing a round of Pyramid, the two played another game: the Martin Scorsese Drinking Game Rudolph and her “Birdesmaids” co-stars made famous on the SAG Awards earlier this month. Our favorite part of the game was the huge, Scorsese-esque glasses. That might cause more dizziness than the drinking itself.
