Lindsay Lohan will try to get her career back on track with a timely guest-hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live” in just two weeks — Saturday, March 3.
The news was widely reported on Sunday, including this story on The Hollywood Reporter website.
The “announcement” was apparently made in an ever-so-brief promo seen on “SNL” this past Saturday night — a promo that consisted of little more than a still photo of Lohan.
As the THR story notes, it will be Lohan’s fourth stint as an “SNL” guest host.
The 25-year-old starlet has hit a rough patch in recent years with high-profile court appearances and stints in drug rehab. And unlike most celebs who come on to guest host “SNL,” she has no TV or film projects to promote at the moment.
Still, her performance on “SNL” will be widely watched by people within the entertainment industry and in the general public who will be curious to learn whether Lohan still possesses the talent and charisma that made her a movie star.
