‘Community’ Star on Mocking Angelina Jolie at Oscars

You’d think a woman as beautiful and famous as Angelina Jolie wouldn’t need to work so hard to get attention.

But Jolie worked the thigh-high slit in her black Versace gown to the hilt and then some at the Oscars, flashing her leg again and again. And again. Working the red carpet is one thing, but who needs to “pose” on stage as Jolie did while presenting one of the evening’s awards?

Even one of the recipients of the award Angie handed out thought it was silly — and he imitated her moves right there in front of her. (Too bad the camera didn’t capture her reaction; you’d think they would since the cameramen cut to Brangelina 57 times during the broadcast!).

But it was “Community” costar Jim Rash (he plays goofy Dean Pelton on the NBC sitcom) who played up the absurdity, mocking Jolie on stage after she presented him with the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay, for co-writing “The Descendants” along with Alexander Payne and Nat Faxon.

“I just saw her pose and I thought, you know what, we have exactly the same legs,” Rash joked backstage according to OK. “And I wanted to show everyone what it meant. It was a loving tribute.”

“It was more like, oh, she’s standing, great,” he added, “I’m going to stand like that, too.”

Angelina Jolie’s leg became one of the most talked about moments from the awards show and by the end of the night, it even had its own Twitter account, @Angiesrightleg. Not to be outdone, Jennifer Lopez’s nip slip also joined the Twitter party with @JLosNipple.
