Now that the Oscars are over, let’s start talking about next weekend’s big event: Lindsay Lohan‘s hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live.” According to TMZ, she has told their sources that, because she’s using this as her comeback vehicle, nothing about her tumultuous life over the last few years will be off-limits.

This includes the DUIs, the necklace-theft incident, her community service stint at the morgue… all of it is fair game. According to the site, she wants to be shown as being hip to all the jokes about her.

It’s not the first time she’s been the butt of her own jokes; she did an “eHarmony profile” video for Funny or Die a few years ago that poked at similar subjects, and she described herself as “a workaholic, a shopaholic, and, according to the state of California, an alcoholic.”

While she’s in New York rehearsing for “SNL,” she’ll also be interviewed by Matt Lauer on the “Today” show on March 1, where we’re sure all of those issues that she’ll be making fun of on Saturday will be brought up, but in a much more serious manner. We’re glad it’s Lauer doing the interview, because we expect him to be tough and unsympathetic, but fair. Hopefully, Lohan will be just as honest as she claims she’s going to be on “SNL.”
