Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Risque Ads for New Show Cause Stir

Jennifer Love Hewitt is dropping everything, including her clothes, to promote her new call girl series “The Client List,” which premieres April 8 on Lifetime.

Photos of Hewitt, 33, in barely there lingerie are splashed here, there and everywhere in a racy ad campaign that’s drawing complaints from some who believe the ads cross the line.

In one of the ads, Hewitt is pictured wearing a nude colored bra and panties, while lying seductively across the word Sundays. In another, her massive cleavage is so distracting you wouldn’t know what she was promoting (besides her infamous twinset).

Sure, she’s playing a call girl and all, but they could save her naughty bits for those who choose to tune into the series, and not broadcast it to everyone walking down the street (including grandmothers and children).

“The List” evolved from the 2010 Lifetime film of the same name starring Hewitt, a project which she also executive produces.

The premise centers around Texas housewife Riley Parks, a mother of two abandoned by her husband, who takes a job at a spa that offers more than just massages to its clients. Ahem. Not exactly a happy ending for Riley, who is then forced to hide her double life from her children and her mother, played by Cybill Shepherd. Her character even has her own fictional, G-rated-for-now Twitter account, @RileyParks82 (“Just a small town girl who LOVES karaoke, a good margarita and my two kids Katie & Travis”).

The raunchy role is a change of pace for Hewitt, mostly known as a good girl, who spent five years on the family friendly CBS drama “Ghost Whisperer” (where she was often seen traipsing around in the dark in more demure, gauzy nighties).

The new photos follow some equally suggestive teaser ads for “The Client List,” which are literally a tease, declaring “If you’re on her list, you want to … get off.”

Only time will tell if Hewitt’s extra oomph! actually gives the ratings a boost.

“The Client List” premieres Sunday, April 8 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
