‘Teen Mom’ Star Arrested for Stalking

Jenelle Evans

Troubled “Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans is in hot water again.

Evans, 20, was arrested Monday in North Carolina for stalking, according to TMZ. The charges stem from an ongoing feud with her former boss, James Duffy, whom Evans first accused of cyberstalking.

Evans learned there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest, so she voluntarily turned herself in. She was booked for misdemeanor stalking and smiled for her latest mugshot.

“She was arrested and posted a $1,000 unsecured bail,” her attorney Dustin Sullivan told Radar Online.

“He’s just retaliating against Jenelle,” Sullivan said, speaking of Duffy. “The charges have no merit. This is just absurd.”

Both Duffy and Evans are due in court March 23.

Evans, who has a two-year-old son, has previous arrests for harassing a former roommate, violating a protective order and for assault. She is currently on probation.

Many of the young girls who appear on these MTV reality shows have been having a tough time. Last week, “16 and Pregnant” star Whitney Purvis was arrested for shoplifting a pregnancy test from a Walmart.

As a result of all the teen mama legal drama, MTV is reportedly targeting more affluent teens, presumably from a better background, to feature on the fourth season of “16 and Pregnant.”
