Fresh off a renewal for their third season, “The Talk” welcomed “Top Chef Masters” host Curtis Stone to the set as a guest host while Sharon Osbourne is away.
The group brought up the recent controversy with Stone’s fellow chef Jamie Oliver, host of “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution,” who was asked about his recent weight gain by a member of the press in Australia. His reply was to call the reporter a “bitch.”
Stone said that after promoting proper eating on Oliver’s show, the chef needed to follow his own advice.
“Jamie’s a big voice in the food world,” said Stone. “His show is called the ‘Food Revolution.’ He’s there talking about healthy food and you’ve got to practice what you preach. I love Jaime. I think he’s a great guy, I think what he stands for is really important. we’ve all had different realtionships with food, some great, some not so great. But when you’ve got a place in the TV world of responsibility, you’e got to follow through.”
