The Love Boat” has set a course for annihilation.

The former cruise ship Pacific Princess, better known as The Love Boat and featured on the popular television show of the same name from the ’70s and ’80s, has been sold to a Turkish demolition company where the iconic vessel will be broken up and sold for scrap metal, according to Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

The famed boat was sold for about $3.3 million for its final voyage, but was originally built for $25 million in 1971 as a 600-passenger ship that served as the backdrop and “housed” the characters and crew of the ABC show from 1977 through 1986.
