One rumored name is now confirmed to be in talks for “The X Factor.”
LeAnn Rimes‘ husband Eddie Cibrian told “Extra” that his wife has been meeting with show producers about filling one of the slots left vacant when Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were bumped from the show.
“They’ve been talking,” Cibrian said to the newsmagazine. “I have no idea what’s going on with that. I think that they’ve been talking to a lot of people, a lot of artists about that position. We’ll see.”
For the record, he thinks she would be a great catch for the singing competition.
“I think she would be unbelievable on a show like that,” he said before adding. “As a mentor, which is key for that show ‘The X Factor,’ I think she has a lot of great input and actually could an help these people out.”
Rimes joins a bevy of other names linked to the show’s positions. Yesterday, reports surfaced that the series was looking at Stacy Keibler to potentially serve as a host.
