They may be losing one high-profile drama this spring when the “Housewives” say goodbye after eight seasons, but ABC is adding another soapy series to its slate this fall.
And Alyssa Milano has been cast as the last of the four leads in “Mistresses.”
Adapted from the British series of the same name, the drama centers around four friends with sordid love lives. Milano takes on the role of Sarah, a married lawyer with an irresistibly handsome law partner to contend with at their LA firm.
“Lost” fave Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes (“Detroit 1-8-7”) and Jes Macallan (“Justified”) also star in the project, which comes from “Gossip Girl” producer K.J. Steinberg.
Viewers will also get a dose of Milano later this season when she reprises her guest role on Fox’s “Breaking In” as the ex-wife of Christian Slater’s character.
