LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) – Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall are about to get animated for CMT.
The Blue Collar Comedy trio will voice and executive-produce CMT’s first animated project, “Bounty Hunters,” the network announced at its upfront presentation in New York on Wednesday.
The series, which will also feature voice work from comedienne Lisa Lampanelli, is “a hilarious tale about three friends and their two-bit bounty hunting business.” Muse Entertainment and Parallel Entertainment are producing.
“Bounty Hunters” will premiere in 2013.
CMT also announced that it will air “Trinity 911,” a 10-episode “workplace docu-comedy” that follows the police force in a small Texas town. Endemol USA is producing the series, which will begin its 10-episode season later this year.
