William Levy has joined the “Dancing with the Stars” “DL” list. The “DWTS” hunk injured his ankle Sunday in rehearsals.
“Just Wanted to let u know that I injured my right ankle pretty bad during rehearsal.. MRI tomorrow. I’ll let u all know .. Love u all,” Levy Tweeted late Sunday.
His status is reportedly questionable for Monday night’s performance show. But Levy and partner Cheryl Burke are among the frontrunners and it’s “Latin Night,” so we’re guessing the Latin hunk is going to do whatever it takes to get back in action and spice up the dance floor with his Argentine Tango.
Burke added, “Hoping that everything turns out ok with William’s ankle injury. Unfortunately things like this happen but praying it’s nothing serious.”
The 31-year-old actor, who also graces the cover of People magazine this week, is so hot on “DWTS,” each week he garners the loudest screams and cheers the ballroom has seen in a longtime. Ironically, he and Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins were both relatively unknown to American audiences before joining “DWTS,” but they each are on a ballroom blitz, quickly becoming fan favorites and regularly topping the leaderboard.

Levy isn’t the only Season 14 celeb “Dancing” with an injury. “Extra” co-host Maria Menounos has battled broken ribs and a stress fracture in her foot, while “Little House” star Melissa Gilbert had a big scare during last week’s performance show when she was hospitalized with whiplash and a mild concussion after a particularly aggressive Paso Doble with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Gilbert, 47, is hoping for a big comeback tonight, after dipping her toe back into “gentle rehearsals” late last week, tweeting that “Nobody puts Halfpint in the corner!”
The actress also Tweeted Sunday that she’s neither down nor out: “my salsa w/ @MaksimC es muy caliente!!& what’s the best thing 2 do when u fall off a horse?Get rt back on.Watch 4 it at the end of our dance.”
Tonight’s Latin fiesta has the nine remaining couples performing either the Salsa, the Argentine Tango or the Samba when “Dancing with the Stars” airs Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
