Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the E! Entertainment Network isn’t letting go of its most popular franchise any time soon.
The Kardashians will continue to live in the reality TV fishbowl, after reaching a new mega-deal with E! that will keep “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on the air for at least three more seasons, the network said Tuesday.
The new contract (likely masterminded by momager extraordinaire Kris) covers the entire family: Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, and Bruce, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The terms of the contract were not disclosed. But it was reported that the deal does give E! a first-look option at any additional Kardashian spinoff projects.
“The Kardashians” is E!’s highest-rated program ever, with the most recent season (featuring Kim’s overblown wedding and disastrous divorce) averaging more than three million viewers on Sunday nights. The upcoming seventh season, featuring 18 new episodes, begins May 20.
Keeping their ever-invading presence in the entertainment-verse, the “K” Klan appeared Monday night with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s fly-by-the-seat-of-its-pants late-night show, “Watch What Happens Live.”
