“Dexter” has recruited its new bad guy.
British actor Ray Stevenson has signed on to play a Russian crime lord for a multi-episode arc on Season 7, where he’ll be an intriguing new foe for Miami serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall).
Stevenson starred in HBO’s terrific series “Rome” (every episode is available here on xfinityTV), as well as in action movies such as “Thor,” “The Punisher: War Zone” and the upcoming “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”
Showtime has already renewed “Dexter” through Season 8, but it’s the Season 7 premiere this fall that “Dexter” fans are dying to see.
Viewers were left with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger last season when Dexter’s sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) walked in on him just as he was committing his latest murder! Did we mention, she had also recently come to the realization that she’s in love with Dexter? (Okay, they are adopted siblings, but still…!)
The new season of “Dexter” returns Sept. 30.
