Teresa (“the table flipper”) Giudice “misses” her family and friends. You know, the ones she’s alienated after some seriously dysfunctional family drama on “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
“Things have gotten out of hand,” Teresa said in a new interview with In Touch magazine. “I want to accept responsibility for the things I did wrong. I’m truly sorry.”
“Out of hand” is putting it lightly. Her feud with brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, was so explosive, it led to violence in an all-out brawl at a baby’s christening last year. Now that the gang is back with Season 4, which debuted this past Sunday, Teresa appears to be having a change of heart about her hot-tempered ways … something, it’s interesting to note, has not been on display in her mild-mannered appearance on this season’s “Celebrity Apprentice“. (Maybe Donald Trump’s had a soothing effect on her?)
“It was rough, and looking back, there are definitely situations I would have handled differently,” Teresa wrote on her Bravo blog. “All I can do is apologize, learn from them, and move on. I have personally and sincerely apologized to everyone on the show more times than I can count.”
But “Jersey” is a rough crowd and not everyone is ready to call a truce. Costar Caroline Manzo rejected Teresa’s apology during a late-night appearance this week, calling the magazine mea culpa an “insult” and questioning Teresa’s integrity. “She’s not sorry, her publicist is sorry,” Manzo said.
Manzo’s not the only castmate who thinks Teresa’s magazine spread is a sorry excuse for an apology and more of “a PR clean-up attempt.”
