As always, the season finale of “The Biggest Loser” on Tuesday brought home a $250,000 prize for one of the final contestants. But who would capture the crown?
Warning Spoilers Ahead!!
With the final weigh-ins to showcase how much weight this season’s contestants have lost, the top three contestants hit the scales with brother and sister Conda and Jeremy Britt squaring off along with former wrestler Kim Nielsen.
The scales showed that Conda Britt, 24, lost 117 pounds to drop from 294 pounds to 177 pounds; Jeremy Britt, 22, shed 199 pounds to slide from 389 to a svelte 190; and Kim Nielsen, 38, ended the season with a loss of 118 pounds to shrink from 252 to 134 pounds.
So the prize was handed to Jeremy, who dropped 51% of his starting weight and is now officially “The Biggest Loser.”
It was a sweet victory, especially after his shocking elimination two weeks ago. Jeremy battled his way back into the competition last week when all of the eliminated contestants were brought back to compete for a chance to get back in the game — and Jeremy won that third finalist spot.
Of course, Alison Sweeney also brought back eliminated players to see who lost the most weight for the secondary “At Home” $100,000 prize. Mike Messina, who was eliminated in the second episode, won the reward for dropping 160 pounds and 44.69% of his body weight, going from 358 lbs. to 198 lbs.
