Donald Driver, Katherine Jenkins, William Levy, and Maria Menounos have made it to the “Dancing with the Stars” final four semifinals and reflect on the tough competition ahead.
“The final four is here,” Donald, who dances with Peta Murgatroyd, told xfinityTV. “Then it’s going to be the final three. And when it’s all said and done, we’re hoping we’re the final one.”
On the next step in their hoped-for journey, Donald and Peta will dance the waltz and the samba Monday night. “It’s a good contrast between the two which will show Donald’s emotional slow side and his fiery samba side,” Peta said.
“We’re ready to roll,” Donald noted. “We are going to continue to dance the way we have been dancing and hoping if it’s Week 10, that we get a 10 from [judge] Len [Goodman]. Then I’m happy because that means we’re holding the mirror ball in our hand.”
The football player and his pretty partner have made no secret of their desire to win. But they have one more hurdle before the finale. Donald said they smelled victory “when we first met each other. We’ve talked about it. I told her I was going to do everything in my power to make sure I get there.”
Donald, who jumped over Peta and Karina Smirnoff during his trio dance, said if he and Peta make it to the finale, “We may jump over the audience. We just may do something crazy if that’s going to win it.”

Meanwhile, Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas will dance the quickstep and the salsa for their semifinal performances.
The dance pro said he’s given her advice about the semis: “Just to keep going at the pace we’ve been going and enjoy it, be in the moment and knock it over the head. Hopefully we’ll pick up a couple of points that we lost [last week]. We had a rough night — we had the wardrobe malfunction and got docked a couple of points in the first dance that I didn’t think she was going to get docked for. But ultimately, we’re grateful to the fans for putting us through.”

Katherine told xfinityTV: “I’ve given him permission to push me as hard as he needs to.”
For the semifinals, Maria Menounos and Derek Hough will take on the Argentine tango and a jive. “Two physically demanding dances when we’re already tired, when she’s broken. But I believe in her 100 percent,” Derek said.
“Everybody who’s left in the final four are definitely the strongest,” he told reporters. “It’s going to be a pretty brutal semifinal. To make that final is going to be a tight squeeze so I’m choreographing as I’m speaking to you right now, trying to come up with some routines that are going to be show stoppers, so we’ll see. You can’t play it safe.”
Maria was hoping the semifinals would mean “just staying in the game and continuing on, to be able to learn more dances and have more fun. It’s been a magical experience and I don’t want it to end.”
