NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) – TNT and TBS announced development slates Wednesday that include a TNT reality show from Matthew McConaughey about the search for America’s best bar band and a possible new TBS talk show hosted by “Saturday Night Live” veteran Norm MacDonald.

TNT is developing dramas with Michael Bay, Howard Gordon, Dick Wolf and Steven Bochco, among others, while Conan O’Brien, host of TBS’ “Conan,” is developing two comedies through his Conaco. One features three roommates who discover that an evil but very hip alien has moved into their building.

TBS has ordered a pilot presentation of “Norm MacDonald is Trending,” from some of the executive producers of “Sports Show with Norm MacDonald” and “Real Time with Bill Maher.” MacDonald has starred in a series of past shows besides the recently canceled “Sports Show,” including ABC’s “The Norm Show” and Fox’s “A Minute With Stan Hooper.”
