ABC’s “Scandal” has lost one of its hunky costars.

Former “Lost” star Henry Ian Cusick will not be returning for Season 2 of the political drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

His contract was not picked up for next season but the trade reports it’s an “amicable” split between Cusick and showrunner Shonda Rhimes.

Cusick played Stephen Finch, a member of the Pope & Associates team known for charming information out of subjects for PR political fixer Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).

Cusick may be out, but someone else is in even deeper — Joshua Malina, who had a recurring role during the show’s first season, has been upgraded to series regular, TV Guide reports, so expect a lot more sparring between U.S. Attorney David Rosen and Olivia Pope next season.
