On June 19, Lifetime premieres new docu-series “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.” The show charts the 21-year-old “Dancing With the Stars” alum’s journey from Wasilla to Los Angeles with her 3-year-old son Tripp and sister Willow.
Lifetime has released several new clips of the series which offer a glimpse into what the 21-year-old recently described on “Good Morning America” as “the real Bristol.”
So who, exactly, is “the real Bristol”? Palin told Robin Roberts that she’s a “grounded, normal mom.” But it’s clear that Bristol’s life is anything but normal. Case in point: below, a fun ride on a mechanical bull turns ugly when a bar patron shouts some nasty comments about Bristol and her mother, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. “Is that how you rode [former fiance] Levi [Johnston]?” he yells, adding, “Your mother’s a whore.”

Following the confrontation, Bristol breaks down, calling her friend and admitting between sobs that she just wants to go home:

Despite the Saddle Ranch dramatics, Bristol admitted the incident didn’t phase her – nor does she pay mind to the many people who wish ill upon her and her family. “I have tough skin,” she told Roberts. “I know God’s on my side.”
“Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” premieres on Tuesday, June 19 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
