What’s the most watched show in the world?

Nope, it isn’t “Baywatch’ (anymore), the most-watched program is actually CBS’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” which was the recipient of the International Television Audience Award for a Drama TV Series at the 52nd Monte Carlo Television Festival. The award is given to the show that received the highest ratings around the world in 2011 across five continents, based on statistics from Eurodata TV Worldwide.

Series star Ted Danson accepted the award on behalf of the series, which marks the fifth time the program has been awarded with the honor in the past seven years.

Overall, the series was watched by more than 63 million viewers worldwide last year.
