Looks like Gayle might have some kompetition. After spending ten – yes, ten – hours talking to the Kardashian Klan for Sunday’s episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” Oprah Winfrey apparently made a konnection. This, according to Kris Jenner. In an interview with E! News, Jenner proudly declared that Oprah is her “new BFF.” Jenner admitted that having Oprah in her Hidden Hills, Calif. home was a “dream come true, ” adding, “It was one of the best days of my life. She was warm and generous and amazing.”

Oprah wrote about the “insightful” hang session on her blog, noting that the special episode of “Next Chapter” promises “another level of forthrightness and honesty” from the “Keeping Up” klan.

“I had the longest interviewing session I can ever recall, talking to ALLLLLLLL the Kardashians,” Winfrey blogged. “I had never met them, nor seen the show. I did a full on Kardashian Kram in preparation, watching major shows from every season. I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon? Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them.  Are they completely ego centered? Are they really ‘famous for being famous’ or is there something more?”
