Sharon Osbroune cried and could barely speak on Monday’s episode of “The Talk” when she was asked to comment on recent news that her son Jack was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
After revealing his condition to People.com, Jack spent the day feeling the support of family, friends, and fans. He tweeted a thank you to everyone. His sister Kelly also went on Twitter and commended her brother’s bravery and honesty, and expressed her love.
But the 59-year-old family matriarch, a cancer survivor herself, didn’t appear to be handling the news as well as her children. She got very emotional as she confirmed her son’s recent diagnosis, barely managing to say, “He’s great. He’s doing really, really good.”
Expect more waterworks from Mr. O on Wednesday when Jack guests on “The Talk.” He learned of his new condition – disease that affects the central nervous system – last April, only two weeks after his fiancée Lisa Stelly gave birth to daughter Pearl Clementine.
“I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us,” Sharon added.
