Pickles and punches are things of the past for mom-to-be Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who arrived on “The View” Wednesday morning with former “Jersey Shore” costar Jenni “JWoww” Farley to promote their new reality show, “Snooki and JWoww.”

The seven months pregnant reality star was candid with the show’s hosts regarding her trepidation about the upcoming birth. “I’m definitely scared,” admitted Polizzi. “I hope I’m a good mom.”

“You’re engaged, so there is a man in your life who wants the responsibility for this child?” asked Walters. “You’ve said you want to wait until your child is older until you get married. I don’t get it. If you can get married and bring a child in the world, why not get married?”

“Because I would definitely love to have my child [be] a part of the ceremony,” responded Polizzi.

“You’re going to wait until the child is 7, 8, 9 years old?” asked a shocked Walters.

“Oh no, definitely not… I want to get married, like, next year,” said Snooki.

While many media outlets have indicated that Polizzi’s pregnancy has strained her friendship with her costar, Farley denied any rift between the two.

“It was just a different experience. It’s something that I hold dear – trying to help her become an adult – and on top of it, experiencing her pregnancy and our relationship together. I was kind of honored that instead of being with her fiancé and kind of doing this on her own, she still wanted to live with me.”

However, while Farley may have enjoyed her time with the pregnant Polizzi, she admits that she won’t be following suit any time soon. “This is my chastity belt,” she said. “This was my birth control.”

When the time comes, Snooki will show her son, whom she’s hoping to name Lorenzo, her “Jersey Shore” days, and Polizzi admitted that she would use the footage to warn her child about the dangers of over-indulgence. “I’m going to sit him down at probably 16 or 17 and say, ‘This is what not to do.'”

As for how her plans have changed since learning of her pregnancy, Snooki revealed she still has her sights set on the small screen. “If I get the opportunity, I’d love the to do [reality TV] until I’m 90.”
