Swamp People” star “Trapper Joe” has been arrested for domestic violence.

Trapper Joe, whose real name is Noces Joseph LaFont Jr., was booked early this morning in Orange County, Florida, reports TMZ.

According to witnesses, LaFont got into an argument with his girlfriend at a hotel around midnight, where he allegedly tried to burn her with a lit cigarette and punched her in the chest.

LaFont was arrested and charged with assault and battery. He reportedly denied the allegations but was taken into custody by police and held on $1,500 bail, says TMZ.

This is the second time in three months LaFont has been in the news. In April, Trapper Joe and his stepson Tommy Chauvin were involved in a five-car crash in Louisiana.
