After the first part of Oprah Winfrey’s interview with the Kardashian clan grabbed the attention of pop culture pundits as well as Kris Humphries’ lawyers earlier this week, part two of the interview is set to reveal a big regret by one member of the family about the Kardashian tendency to create a media frenzy.
On the next episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that runs Sunday on OWN, Bruce Jenner tells Oprah Winfrey that he now regrets the lavish spectacle that was created by his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Humphries.
“The only thing [I wish I could take back from being televised was] the whole wedding thing,” he said to Oprah. “We went so overboard on that. And the way it turned out and everything.”
He pleads that at the time of ceremony, the family meant well, but they couldn’t have known the outcome.
“And, because I mean at the time it was honest…I mean, I was all in, you know?” he revealed. “But then it turned so quickly.”
When Oprah asked if he believed the marriage was going to work, Bruce said, “I was hoping it would work.”
