Good news, TV fans: A canceled show is getting a second shot.

CBS has finalized a deal to bring back the axed crime drama “Unforgettable” for another season, Deadline reports.

The series has been revived with an order for 13 new episodes slated to air in summer 2013.

“Unforgettable” was canceled in May, despite respectable ratings, averaging 12 million viewers and a 2.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demo during its first season.

Poppy Montgomery stars in the show as NYC investigator Carrie Wells, whose ability to remember absolutely everything and visually recall minute details helps her reconstruct crime scenes and solve cases for a team led by her ex-partner/lover (played by Dylan Walsh).

The character’s memory skill is inspired by actress Marilu Henner (“Taxi”), who has the rare “gift” of a photographic memory, known as Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM).
