Monday night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent” proved the show’s judges are weirder than a vast majority of contestants. In a “red-carpet” special preceding the main event, viewers were treated to an “AGT” blooper reel featuring a revealing moment that probably would’ve been better left uncovered. Namely, Howie Mandel’s “surgery.” Several minutes of the behind-the-scenes video were devoted to the detection and removal of a blackhead Mandel had in his ear. After making the initial discovery, Sharon Osbourne made it her mission to extract the clogged pore that, as she explained it, was so big it, “has a face.” Eventually she accomplished the task, with cameras zooming in to show the messy details (watch if you dare above).
In other non-gross-out news, 12 of the top 48 performed in the quarterfinals. Tuesday, only 4 of those 12 will move on in the results show. Take a look at one of the biggest highlights of the night from The Distinguished Men of Brass:
