In the round-robin tournament that is reality show TV judges, the latest to come under scrutiny is “America’s Got Talent” judge Sharon Osbourne, who cryptically tweeted last week, “My darling @HowardStern, money is not the reason I’m not returning to @nbcagt, it’s because…”
So what did that mean?
xfinityTV spoke to Sharon Osbourne after a CBS daytime TV panel for “The Talk” to try to get clarification.
“I didn’t like the fact that it got out that [I was leaving the show] because of money,” Osbourne said. “It is not because of money. I never know what I am doing tomorrow, let alone today.”
But that said, she may not be leaving the show at all. She just doesn’t know. Right now, she says that Howard Stern has been asked back, but she has not. And until she is, she won’t assume anything.
“Having been born in this industry, I know how it goes,” she says. “It is what I tell my husband and it is what I tell my children. Enjoy your five minutes. Because when it comes to all of us, they pull the rug out from under you, and there is a younger, prettier, smarter [person] right behind your back, so enjoy it while you’ve got it.”

“America’s Got Talent” relocated from the West Coast to New Jersey to accommodate Stern’s joining the judges’ panel, but Osbourne, who has missed a lot of days on “The Talk” as a result, says that will not be a consideration in her decision to return — if she is asked.
“I am a gypsy. I spent my entire life on the road, so I am used to it. Would I rather be home? Of course, I would. But I do love the show?… I love the show. It is actually personally my favorite show on TV. I love what the show does. I love the people I work with but I have to think about me and what I want to do.”
Osbourne, who as everyone knows from her reality TV series “The Osbournes” is a dog person, so when asked who she predicts will win this season’s “America’s Got Talent,” says, “It’s all about the dogs.”
“America’s Got Talent” returns to NBC after the Olympics on August 14.
