JLo Files $20 Million Extortion Lawsuit Against Former Employee

Jennifer Lopez isn’t playing games with a former employee who threatened her with scandal.

The former “American Idol” judge filed a lawsuit against her former driver Hakob Manoukian, according to TMZ, “claiming he demanded $2.8 million or else he’d tell the media and authorities about secrets he overheard while driving her here and there.”

The case comes after Manoukian files his own lawsuit that he was forced to resign after being humiliated by by JLo’s manager, Benny Medina.

In her countersuit, Lopez claims that Manoukian became power hungry and wanted to control her entire security team as get rich in the process. After he was turned down, JLo states that he became upset and threatened to spill confidential information that would be “highly embarrassing” to her.

Lopez also claims that Manoukian demanded $2.8 million or he would he would take his information to the police and have her criminally prosecuted.

His final payment? Lopez is now suing for damages in over $20 million.
