“Raising Hope” may be raising its profile by booking some more name guest stars for the upcoming third season of the Fox sitcom.
His character will be a love interest for guest star Melanie Griffith, who was previously announced to play Sabrina’s (Shannon Woodward) mother, Tamara.
Previous big name guest stars on “Raising Hope” include singer Katy Perry, Nancy Grace, Jason Lee and Amy Sedaris.
Valderrama was seen last season on NBC’s short-lived drama “Awake.”
Coincidentally, it will be a family affair on TV this fall for Griffith. Dakota Johnson, her daughter with ex-husband Don Johnson, stars in the new Fox sitcom “Ben & Kate,” premiering Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8:30/7:30c.
And Griffith’s famous mom, Tippi Hedren, is also getting in on the action, sort of. This fall, HBO is premiering “The Girl,” a dark and twisted movie about Hedren’s tortured life as a Hitchcock blonde after the master of suspense became obsessed with his leading lady off-screen. The film premieres in October and stars Sienna Miller as Tippi Hedren and Toby Jones as Alfred Hitchcock.
The new season of “Raising Hope” premieres Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 8/7c on Fox.
